Our Story
Hi everyone! My name is Cat and I am a crazy horse girl. Horse show fashion is something that I have always had a passion for. Behind the Bit started in 2014 under the name “Behind the Bit Show Clothing” as a way to support my crazy horse-showing dreams. Over the years, it has turned into much more than I could ever imagine.
I have been in the industry for over 15 years and have competed at the national level on the AQHA circuit for 8+ years. This experience in the equine world has led me to also understand how to market and create a vibrant social media presence. As a young entrepreneur, I have combined my love of horse show clothing, writing, social media outreach, and product innovation under the umbrella of modern day Behind the Bit.
This business has grown up with me and continues to evolve each and every day. Ultimately, it has given me an outlet to combine my passion for show clothes, connecting with people, and horses.
